Today should be interesting for YouTube – it’s facing an adult-themed attack by members of the infamous 4chan website. They’ve publicised plans for YouTube Porn Day – where site users will decamp to YouTube en masse and upload hardcore adult vids, disguising them as more innocent fare. It’s in protest at one YouTube user having their account suspended. If this sounds silly, don’t underestimate the campaign. 4chan has been behind a number of quirky attacks of this nature, and even managed to rig Time Magazine’s Man of The Year poll last year to put 4chan’s founder at the top.
