Creative Commons music startup Jamendo is running out of cash and looking for a buyer, CEO Laurent Kratz has confirmed. The company was recently trying to raise around $2.15 million in new funding, but failed to agree it with backers. Jamendo has a catalogue of around 200,000 royalty-free tracks, which can be licensed by films, TV shows, websites and other media firms. The company says it has around 2,300 paying users.
