US personalised radio service Slacker has announced that the next versions of its iPhone and Android apps will support ‘station caching’. Users will be able to save their favourite Slacker stations on their phones or memory cards, then listen to them offline. The feature is already available in Slacker’s BlackBerry app. Meanwhile, the company is also working on an app for Palm smartphones.
