eMusic has announced its second major label deal, with Warner Music Group, following last year’s agreement with Sony Music. The new partnership will add 10,000 albums to eMusic’s catalogue, including music from WMG subsidiaries Atlantic, Rhino and Warner Bros. However, the deal mainly covers older albums rather than current releases, like the Sony deal. For now, the WMG music will only be available to US subscribers of eMusic. Meanwhile, eMusic boss Danny Stein has confirmed that the company is looking to rework its licensing deals to support streaming as well as downloads. Source: PaidContent
