DJ Hero has got some bad press of late based on its less-than-stellar sales figures. However, Bobby Kotick, CEO of its publisher Activision, says the series won’t be canned after just one instalment. “I think DJ Hero is a really innovative product,” he says. “I can’t wait for you to see next year’s. That’s the thing, we’re sticking with it. We’ll stick with it and get it right.” Games blog Joystiq archly points out that Activision is nevertheless being fairly restrained by just making one sequel, considering that six individual Guitar Hero games were released in 2009.
