It’s not exactly been a secret that ad-supported download service FreeAllMusic had bagged its second major label deal with EMI – content from the label is already live on the service, as we reported in a previous Bulletin. However, the deal has now been officially announced, with the release claiming it covers EMI’s “full digital repertoire” – interesting at a time when there’s been speculation that ad-supported services may only get access to older tracks. The EMI content will be offered alongside tracks from UMG, which was the first major to sign up with FreeAllMusic. Source: Press Release
