Web 2.0 firm Seesmic has launched its Big New Idea: Seesmic Look. It’s a Twitter client for PCs, designed to make the experience friendly for non-geeks – reducing the clutter of its existing app Seesmic Desktop. However, it’s also brand-friendly – users can browse channels of tweets curated by brands including Red Bull and Kodak. In the former’s case, its channel gathers tweets from sports stars. There’s no reason why labels and other music firms couldn’t get involved too – something that’s already happening with rival app Tweetdeck, which recently launched a customised version for Interscope.
