The US looks set to get a digital-only chart-topper this week, in the form of charity single Hope For Haiti Now. It’s on track to sell around 175,000 units, despite only being available in digital stores for three days in the week. Hypebot reports that it’s also likely to top the charts in 20 other countries, based on strong iTunes sales. Its distributor INgrooves has waived all fees, while the various retailers – including Amazon, Napster and Rhapsody besides iTunes – are donating their own shares of the revenues to the Haiti aid effort.
