Interactive music firm MXP4 has launched its latest technology, Max It, which promises to remix tracks in real-time, complete with an editor allowing any artist to apply it to their own songs. 20 artists have already made Max It tracks, including Basement Jaxx and Passion Pit. The tech takes individual elements from songs and then mixes them up in real-time – the idea is that the song can sound different every time it’s listened to. However, the Max It Editor looks like being the most important element, since it lets anyone create a Max It track – not just established artists. Source: SandboxFM
