The company has reported €12 billion of net sales for Q4 last year – down 5% year-on-year, but based on a 12% rise in handset shipments to 126.9 million. Nokia also claims it took a 40% share of the smartphone market in Q4, up from 35% in Q3. The company sold 20.8 million smartphones during the quarter, including 4.6 million of its Nseries multimedia handsets. As far as services go, Nokia repeated its claim that its Ovi Store is now generating one million downloads a day – this includes ringtones and wallpapers as well as apps – but did not report any music figures.
