Activision Blizzard released 25 individual music games in 2009 – the publisher has announced it is to slash that number to 10 this year. Guitar Hero and DJ Hero will become the main focus in the second half of 2010. The news came as the publisher announced Q4 2009 revenues of $1.56 billion, thanks in no small part to the billion-dollar Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game. However, the company still managed to post a net loss of $286 million for the quarter – although that figure includes a $241 million writedown.
