EMI in Australia has partnered with telco AAPT to create a service fusing broadband, phone and music in one package. Apparently a first in the Australian market, the APPT Entertainment Bundle is powered by EMI Australia’s digital retail platform, The In Song. Customers can pay AUD $99.95 for a 24-month plan that includes unlimited ADSL2+ broadband, home phone line rental, unlimited streaming and AUD $50 of downloads a month (equating to around 30 downloads). The song catalogue includes around a million tracks, half of which are from EMI and the rest are from Warner and Sony.
