James Cridland, previously head of future media and technology at BBC Radio, has joined Audioboo as a special adviser. Audioboo has been made famous by Stephen Fry, who has used the service to add audio updates into his Twitter feed. Audioboo is an iPhone app that allows users to create audio blogs; there is a version for regular telephones called Phoneboo. Self-proclaimed “radio futurologist” Cridland is expected to help Audioboo move from being a customer-facing service to something used by media companies and radio stations. Source: Telegraph
