Apple just changed its App Store policies again, removing thousands of iPhone applications with adult content and themes. Although it’s emerged that includes everything from women (or men) in bikinis through to animated game heroines showing too much thong. “We have decided to remove any overtly sexual content from the App Store,” explains an email to developers affected by the change. Developers are howling in anger, partly because they had no warning, and partly because it’s a U-turn on Apple’s relaxation of its attitude early last year. Meanwhile, Apple is also facing pointed questions about the difference in what’s allowed on the App Store, and the films and music sold on iTunes. Source: Mobile Entertainment
