ExtensionFM is a new tool that lets people using Google’s Chrome browser automatically gather music that’s embedded on the websites that they visit. The plug-in runs in the background, adding tracks to an online library while users browse – with its initially suggested sites including Spinner, Pitchfork and Stereogum. Users can flick to a full-screen version to play the songs, with links back to the sites where they were scraped from if they want more information. A version for the Firefox browser will be added in the future. Source: ReadWriteWeb
