Jack Bruce is the latest artist to use Pledge Music’s fan-funding platform to release a new album. No, it’s nothing to do with his former band Cream. Instead, it’s ‘Jack Bruce & The Cuicoland Express – Live at The Milkyway’ – a recording of a gig from 2001. People pledging cash will be able to get memorabilia, merchandise and watch video updates from Bruce himself – with a percentage of the profits going to UK charity East Anglian Children’s Hospices. The top pledge, $750 for the harmonica played by Bruce at Cream’s Royal Albert Hall reunion gigs, has already been snapped up. Link
