Rather than use one of the many DIY iPhone app platforms, Muse’s new app is an in-house job, having been released today by Warner Music UK. It offers an interactive ‘AppBook’ for the band’s latest album The Resistance, as well as videos, tourdates and ticketing, a map tracking the band and its fans across the globe, an integrated RSS reader pulling in blog posts, tweets and the band’s favourite weblinks, a forum and a store. Interestingly, Warner isn’t offering the app for free: it’s on the App Store for $2.99. Source: AppShopper
