Last month saw UK retailer HMV host its Next Big Thing urban festival – a series of gigs featuring hotly tipped artists. Now it’s over, the company has announced that everyone who attended the concerts will get a link to a free 13-track compilation, distributed by HMV’s partner 7Digital. Which sounds great – although we wonder why the compilation isn’t being made available to a wider audience – such as people who couldn’t get hold of tickets to the actual concerts.
