MTV has signed a deal with Cedar Fair Entertainment to launch a Rock Band Live tour in the US this summer. It’ll involve events at several of Cedar Fair’s amusement parks, promising a “high-energy, concert-like stage show” with singers from around the country. Attendees will be able to play Rock Band at the event for a chance to take the stage themselves, too. “Rock Band is a pop culture phenomenon and we know families have enjoyed playing the game together at home. But now it’s time for them to take it to the next level – on stage at one of our parks in front of a live audience,” says Cedar Fair COO Jack Falfas. The company is auditioning for people to take part in the stage show itself, too. Source: Kotaku
