MTV Networks has announced a tie-up with OurStage to promote the best artists on the latter’s online talent site. It includes choosing one artist a week for a new ‘Needle in the Haystack’ feature to run across MTV’s websites, while also using songs from OurStage artists in MTV TV shows like Parental Control and Get Hired. MTV will also use OurStage’s platform for competitions, including its Music City Madness contest for new country artists, and a new show called MTV’s $2 Cover. Source: Billboard
