Viacom boss Philippe Dauman has officially announced Rock Band 3, which will be available this side of Christmas – again published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. He claimed that the game will “innovate and revolutionize the music genre once again, just as Harmonix did with the original Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band”. Naturally, no details on this innovation were announced. In existing Rock Band news, next week will see the release of a Lady Gaga track pack, including Poker Face, Just Dance, Monster and Bad Romance. A bonus comes with an apparently-legendary cover of Poker Face by Cartman from South Park.
