While SellaBand looks to recover from its recent financial woes, it’s got more competition in Europe from startup Buskerlabel. Well, sort of. The Italian firm is a music crowd-funding platform, but it focuses on getting fans to pledge money for tracks already recorded, rather than fund an album from scratch. It also sounds a bit fiddly, as the site’s users don’t pay directly, but have to instead buy Buskerlabel’s virtual ‘Koin’ currency first. Source: Brand-M
