Social location service Foursquare, which lets users ‘check in’ to venues and bars in the real-world to earn points, now has more than 500,000 users a year after launching. It’s notched up more than 15.5 million check-ins, and last Friday (5th March 2010) was its busiest day ever, with 275,000 check-ins.
