Google’s hotly-tipped Nexus One Android handset has only sold 135,000 units in its first 74 days on sale, according to estimates from the analytics firm. That compares to 1.05 million Motorola Droid phones, in the same timescale. Flurry suggests that the Nexus One “may go down as a grand, failed experiment” for Google. Google has announced that its Android Market is picking up momentum with developers, having passed the 30,000 applications milestone.
