From July, Universal Music Group International will have a new COO: Max Hole, who steps up from his position as EVP of UMGI and president of its Asia Pacific division. He’s been at UMGI for 12 years, and his role has included responsibility for the label’s digital, strategic marketing and commercial affairs divisions. His new appointment is part of UMG’s wider executive reshuffle, with UMGI chairman/CEO Lucian Grainge stepping up to CEO of Universal Music Group itself, as Doug Morris sidesteps into a chairman role.
