NGTV, the online entertainment network backed by Kiss’ Gene Simmons, has filed for bankruptcy. The site focuses on entertainment and music videos, and claims to have notched up 445 million views of its videos. “NGTV filed for chapter 11 protection primarily to implement a reorganization plan with the cooperation and consent of our senior secured lenders,” confirms co-president Kourosh Taj. Simmons has yet to comment, but we’re guessing Bob Lefsetz may have something to say on the matter in the near future. Source: Digital Media Wire
