The latest artist to launch a location-based digital marketing campaign is Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, with a GPS manhunt mashed up with Google Maps, sponsored by O2. Visitors to the band’s site are being asked to track them down – today in Bristol. The first to find the pair and say ‘The Logic of Chance’ will win a guest role in their next video, as well as two backstage tickets to the Bestival festival. It’s reminiscent of last year’s Live & Lost campaign from Frankmusik, which also tied in Google Maps with a ‘find the artist’ theme. Very nifty. Link
