The UK-based Open Rights Group is trying to lead opposition to the Digital Economy Bill, but it seems it’s having a few issues mobilising protestors for its events. The Register reports on its flashmob outside the offices of PRS For Music and other industry bodies, claiming that a mere seven people turned up. The event’s slogan – it took place on 1 April – was ‘Are we being made fools of?’ The Reg suggests that people wanting to campaign against the bill “should consider lending your weight to someone competent: ISPA, for example”.
