Universal Music Group’s market share fell slightly from 30.9% in Q1 2009 to 30.3% in Q1 2010, whereas as Sony Music Group gain 1.9%, to have a 27.9% market share in Q1 2010, from 26% in Q1 2009. Warner Music Group came in third with 19.2%, down from 20.7% a year ago, with EMI gaining nearly 2% points from 8.8% to 10.5%.
