We wrote about Mflow in a recent Music Ally Report – the UK-based service is like iTunes with a social recommendations layer built on top. Island Records was the first label to endorse it with a marketing campaign for new artist Lauren Pritchard, and the label says it was so successful, it’s planning a follow-up. “We’re so happy with the mflow promotional campaign for her, we’re already doing the same thing for Pete Lawrie, a British folk/pop artist signed to Island,” says senior digital consultant Glenn Cooper. “Early adopters and passionate music fans want to be first to discover new artists, and mflow is the natural platform for that.” Source: Billboard
