Microsoft has unveiled two new smartphones aimed at teenagers. The Kin One and Kin Two have touchscreens and slide-out keyboards, and are the spiritual successors to Danger’s SideKick, which was hugely popular with young Americans a few years ago before Microsoft acquired the company. The Kin phones major on social networking, with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter updates splashed over the homescreens. However, they’re also the first phones to have full integration with Microsoft’s Zune music store and Zune Pass subscription service. Weirdly, though, they can’t run apps.
