It’s been routed in the smartphone market, but Sony Ericsson continues to push its Walkman line of feature-phones, with two new models unveiled yesterday. The Zylo and Spiro offer the usual music features, as well as built-in Twitter and Facebook functionality. However, interestingly they don’t make a big deal of the Walkman brand, despite Sony Ericsson’s claim that it has sold more than 130 million Walkman phones in recent years. We half-suspect that the company may be planning to shift Walkman to being the music feature in all its phones, rather than a standalone range. Source: Mobile Entertainment
