US satellite radio firm Sirius XM has reported a net gain of 171,000 subscribers in its last financial quarter, a turnaround from the let loss of 404,000 subscribers the quarter before. It now has 18.9 million subscribers, up 345,000 year-on-year. CEO Mel Karmazin says the company also expects to report “solid revenue growth” for the first quarter of this year, when it reveals those numbers.
