Research In Motion has revealed that it has 20 million registered users of its BlackBerry App World store, which is racking up nearly one million app downloads a day. Which sounds impressive, until you realise that iPhone’s App Store is generating somewhere between 10 and 20 million downloads a day. Even so, RIM’s store is picking up steam gradually, making it more interesting for companies making music applications. Indeed, in the US particularly, it’s becoming the third important platform for app developers beyond iPhone and Android. Source: Business Insider
