Here’s more evidence that Twitter is acting to deal with claims that its service is becoming one of the key sources of torrent links. The company has suspended the accounts of two torrent sites, YourBitTorrent and TorrentSurf. The sites say they have been told that the reason was ‘abuse’, although it’s still not entirely clear whether it’s the links to copyright-infringing content that were the problem, since Twitter hasn’t publicly commented.
