It seems MySpace shouldn’t just be worrying about users and bands moving to Facebook. How about executives? Facebook has announced that it’s launching a new engineering office in Seattle, with the aim of attracting “the smartest, most talented technologists on the Internet”. Overseeing this recruitment process will be Hadi Partovi, one of the co-founders of music service iLike, who took a senior engineering role at MySpace following its acquisition of that startup, before being jettisoned earlier this year.
