The Roxy on LA’s Sunset Boulevard has become one of the first gig venues to tap into social location service Foursquare. It’s running a promotion tied in with artist Sara Haze. Anyone checking-in at the venue via Foursquare can then show their device at the merchandise booth to get a free Sara CD of their choice. So far, 449 unique visitors have checked in at the venue, although some of those would have been before the promo kicked off.
