Digital distributor TuneCore has published its financials for 2009, revealing that artists using its service notched up 26.2 million downloads and grossed $35 million of revenues. Those figures included 1.4 million of album downloads, while TuneCore acts also topped 37.4 million streams of their songs. “Many TuneCore Artists are outselling and/or are making more money than ‘signed’ Artists,” blogged the company.
