Tagged claims to be the third largest social network in the US behind Facebook and MySpace, with 70 million monthly visitors. It’s ramping up its music activities with an exclusive stream of a Bon Jovi concert, and VP of sales Steve Sarner says that this is just the start. “Our real niche is meeting new people,” he tells Billboard. “We’re hoping bringing music to the site is another conversation starter, just another icebreaker or another reason to engage with somebody.” Sarner also says that Tagged is negotiating with an R&B artist, a rock artist and a rapper to run future promotions.
