BigChampagne has released stats comparing music plays on YouTube and MySpace Music, and they show that Google’s site has much more volume. In one week recently, Rihanna’s ‘Rude Boy’ was streamed 732,014 times on MySpace Music, but its video was watched 4,282,376 times on YouTube – on both sites, it was the fourth-ranked piece of content. In the same week, MySpace Music’s top ten songs were streamed a total of 7.5 million times, whereas the ten top music videos on YouTube were watched 57.3 million times.
