YouTube is celebrating its fifth birthday by releasing a bunch of stats about its growth. The big number: the site is now notching up two billion video views every day, with users spending an average of 15 minutes on the site a day. YouTube gets 45 million daily homepage impressions, with 70% of its traffic coming from outside the US. The company says it’s also scanning 100 years of video every day using its Content ID copyright protection system. Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance remains the most popular video of all-time on YouTube with more than 196 million views, with Miley Cyrus’ 7 Things (117 million) and Pitbull’s I Know You Want Me (118 million) also in the top five.
