MySpace has announced an initiative to get mobile developers to integrate the social network within their apps. It’s kicking off with a software development kit (SDK) for Android apps, with iPhone to follow in the near future. The idea is to help users access MySpace from within other apps – for example sharing details of the music they’re playing or game high scores on their profile. If this sounds familiar, well, it is. Facebook has a similar scheme, Facebook Connect, which has been available for iPhone, Android and other mobile developers for some time now. Source: MocoNews
