Perfume brand Paco Rabanne has launched a site called Black XS Live Sound, which aims to promote its latest fragrance using music. The company plans to film a series of gigs by up-and-coming bands in Japan, Turkey, Spain, Canada, the UK, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and France. 30 videos from the shows will be posted on the website, which also has a spin-off blog, and the obligatory presence on Facebook and Twitter. It’s the latest example of a brand sinking its music marketing budget into grass-roots acts rather than big names. Link Source: Brand-M
