The US Congressional International Anti-Piracy Caucus (IAPC) has published its annual Piracy Watch List, which highlights countries that it claims are lagging in their enforcement of intellectual property rights. This year for the first time it also picks out specific “notorious” piracy websites. The six are Baidu in China, IsoHunt in Canada, mp3fiesta in the Ukraine, RapidShare in Germany, RMX4U in Luxembourg, and yes, The Pirate Bay in Sweden. “An Internet of chaos may meet a utopian vision but surely undermines the societal values of safe and secure families and job and revenue-creating commerce,” says an approving RIAA boss Mitch Bainwol. “Shining the spotlight on these websites sends a vital message to users, advertisers, payment processors and governments around the world.” Source: Press Release
