The new album from M.I.A. is called ///Y/ – which is supposed to spell out Maya, her name. Fast Company has an article explaining how marvellously un-SEO friendly the title is: Googling it just brings up lots of links to Yahoo, Generation Y on Wikipedia, and VC firm Y Combinator, but nothing to do with M.I.A. Is this a problem? In a word, no. People will still find the album if they Google her name.
