Def Jam has announced that it’ll be signing local hip-hop tunes for inclusion in its upcoming Def Jam Rapstar music game. The UK version will get tracks from Tinie Tempah and Dizzee Rascal, France will get NTM and Sefyu, and Germany will get Sido and Kool Savas. “Hip-hop is global, therefore Def Jam Rapstar must also be global, and provide local content providers the opportunity to represent hip hop in their own language in their own voice,” says Def Jam Enterprises CEO Kevin Liles.
