Fans of American Idol will soon be able to download an official game called American Idol Star Experience. It’s pretty innovative too: its Performance Creator lets players build an avatar, choose a song to sing, choreograph dance moves, and direct the camera angles and special effects. They can then post their performance to Facebook for other fans to rate and comment on. Genres supported will include rock, punk, pop, hip hop, disco, R&B and country.
