Twitter is emerging as an important site for sharing links to online videos. The site is currently showing a 28.24% monthly growth in the number of video streams referred by people’s tweets, outpacing Facebook and Yahoo (although it’s worth stressing this is growth, not overall number of referalls). Meanwhile, people who’ve followed a link to a video from Twitter watch on average for 2.07 minutes, compared to 1.50 minutes for Facebook referalls, and 1.27 minutes for Google referrals.
