Mobile company Nokia is hailing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” as “the most popular track of the year” based on statistics from its Ovi Music download chart. Based on the notion that Ovi Music is available in 36 countries, Nokia claims the store “provides a unique insight into current music trends”. Lady Gaga has spent an average of seven weeks at the number one spot in thirteen countries including Russi, Brazil and Italy, making her the most downloaded Ovi act of 2010. Kesha’s track “Tik Tok” is the second most-downloaded track, with Rihanna and the Black Eyed peas in third and fourth place respectively. Source: press release
