Social aggregation ArtistData service says it’s on the verge of sending 3.75 million updates for its artist customers. The service lets bands update lots of social media services at once, including MySpace, Facebook and Twitter but also a host of smaller sites. The company has just added support for Bandzoogle, LiveMusicMachine, Mobbase, Mobile Roadie, Scout66, SeeJoeRock and Songkick. As artists and managers grapple with the demands of keeping their social profiles fresh, services like ArtistData are touting themselves as the ideal solution. Judging by the updates milestone, it’s not doing too badly at that.
